For those who still don't know how to use Modo for hand painting. Here's the tip, mix your lacquer base paint (especially Modo paint) with D-08 Retarder Max. It is the best solvent to slow down the drying time and reduce the chances of leaving brush stroke.
The currently available Liquid Surface Primer is highly useful for filling seam lines and smoothing over scratches in small or difficult to reach areas since it can be applied with a modelling brush. However, since some modellers have found it difficult to paint over it with a lighter color, we now release this white-colored version of the liquid primer to solve this problem.
You can also thin out the primer with Tamiya Lacquer Thinner for convenient application with airbrushes. Each bottle contains 40ml.
In order to smooth over small scratches etc., many modelers have created their own liquified putty by dissolving putty with lacquer thinner. Tamiya now makes this process a whole lot easier by releasing our very own liquified putty, Liquid Surface Primer. Just brush on over scratches, rough areas etc. and you will get that perfect smooth finish.
Applies easily to small areas using a modeling brush
Can be used on plastic, metal and wooden models
Can be further diluted using Tamiya Lacquer Thinner, allowing it to be used in airbrushes.
Tamiya Acrylic Paints are made from water soluble resins that are excellent for either brush or spray painting. They have excellent coverage and can be used on resin, styrofoam, wood, fiberglass and all common model plastics. The paint flows smoothly with no blushing or fading and colors can be blended very easily to achieve that realistic finish to bring your scale model to life.
Each bottle of Tamiya Acrylic Paints contains 23ml and there is a wide range of gloss, flat and translucent colors. There is also an exclusive thinner and flat base which when added to one of the gloss colors will turn it into a satin or flat finish depending on how much you use.
Specs:
Color Code: X-15

- The paint can be thinned for airbrushing using Tamiya X-20A Acrylic thinner.
