Mr Hobby Mr. Masking SOL Re2 20ml [M135]

Mr. Masking Sol Re2 (Product M-135) by Mr. Hobby is a water-soluble, liquid masking agent ideal for scale models and miniatures. It is perfect for masking complex curves, canopies, and irregular surfaces where traditional tape struggles.

Key Features & Tips
- Water-Soluble Formula: The fluid can be thinned with tap water to adjust thickness. If it dries out or is difficult to peel, simply dampen a cotton swab with water to dissolve and lift the edges.
- Application: Apply evenly with a brush. It becomes translucent as it dries and is usually ready in 20 to 30 minutes.
- Carving: Once completely dry, the masked layer can be carved and cut into precise shapes using a new hobby blade.
- Paint Compatibility: Avoid using water-based acrylics (like Aqueous Hobby Color or Acrysion) directly over the mask, as the moisture can dissolve the fluid.
- Easy Cleanup: Because it is water-based, brushes used to apply it can be washed out with plain water.

Mr. SUPER CLEAR is a solvent-type coating agent for creating surfaces of superior quality. It can be used not only for color painting, but also as the perfect coating agent when your work needs that added touch.

Do and Don't

- This coating agent is specially formulated for use with Mr. COLOR. It should be used after Mr. COLOR has dried completely.
- It cannot be used over water-based hobby colors.
- It will damage slide marks if applied over them.
- Should not be used in airbrushing on hot and humid days (temperature of 30° C or more, humidity of 70% or more) as blushing can occur.
- When a Mr. COLOR and Mr. SPRAY car color is marked “two coat”, be sure to apply a coat of Mr. SUPER CLEAR SHINE. This applies to automobile colors as well. The original color can be restored by recoating.
