Commemorating the 40th anniversary of its original broadcast, the Layzner from the first half of the classic anime "Blue Comet SPT Layzner" makes its debut in Bandai's "Hi-Metal R" series with a brand-new sculpt!

Featuring distinctive proportions based on original design sketches by Kunio Okawara, this figure includes articulation mechanisms and specialized parts designed to faithfully recreate the battles waged across various theaters of war.
This meticulously crafted Layzner thoroughly recreates the figure's overall balance, including the characteristic size of its head unit.

An LED unit is embedded within the neck's ball joint to make the compound eyes light up -- a first in the history of the "Hi-Metal R" series! It radiates a brilliance unlike anything seen before! This light-up feature lets you stage scenes from the anime, particularly those depicting battles in the vacuum of space, with even greater dramatic impact!
